Julia has consistently shown infectious knowledge and passion for her subject, from the first gemmology workshop I attended a few years ago to a recent, day-long “lab-grown diamond” workshop held by Miltons. Her teaching is in-depth, she answers questions well and tailors a workshop to a business’ specific needs. Working with Julia was a total pleasure; Julia is professional, knowledgeable and incredibly engaging. Once we had pinned down a date and I had explained what we needed, Julia created a lesson plan specifically for us. Julia is great with people and makes everything (however complicated!) accessible and interesting.

Julia created a bespoke workshop for us around Sapphires, Rubies and Emeralds. There was time and space built in for questions; Julia was able to answer all of them, even following up a few weeks later with more information. Julia's style of teaching is engaging and encouraging of questions; her passion for gemstones is evident. As a company, we have various levels of gemmological qualification and the workshop Julia delivered was helpful and interesting for all.

Julia's workshop helped filled some knowledge gaps within the team but also gave our staff new confidence when talking about and working with gemstones. Our workshop staff were able to ask questions about working with specific gemstones (hardness, etc) and our sales team were given loads of information that will aid in their confidence to talk about (and therefore sell) gemstones. Our team left feeling inspired and keen to know more.
