My initial research into big laboratory-grown diamonds in September 2022 revealed there were 107 stones that weigh 10ct or more on one popular wholesale platform.
When I launched my Industry Insights report in March 2023, this number has increased to 586.
Earlier this month (September 2023), at the Jewellery Valuers Conference hosted by JVA, delegates were shocked to here that this number has since risen to 1,942.
I joked with the delegates that it wouldn't be long before I there were more than two thousand 10ct+ laboratory-grown diamonds available. That time has already come...

It might only be a week or two before it hits 3,000 stones.
The big laboratory-grown diamonds currently on offer range from 10ct to 28.42ct. The cheapest one, a 10.10 L, VS2 marquise, is priced at $3,156 USD wholesale.
Thirty other 10ct+ laboratory-grown diamonds are priced under $5,000 USD wholesale on the same website.
